Developed intermittently over the span of 22 years, this album reflects on the darkness, confusion, isolation, and beauty of grieving. It is divided into four acts, each dealing with one of the four phases of grief, as proposed by Colin Murray Parkes and John Bowlby:

I: Shock and Numbness
II: Yearning and Searching
III: Disorganization and Despair
IV: Reorganization and Recovery

In essence, this album is largely about finding some sense of solace in nostalgia, some sense of clarity in embracing the temporary and fleeting nature of memory.

This album is dedicated in loving memory to my mom Tina and my aunt Renee.
